This is the most well-known area in Paris, not only because it hosts the popular Butte (the highest point in the city) with its stairways and labyrinth of narrow streets and vines, but also for its cultural interest: the museum of Montmartre, place du Tertre and a certain ambiance that captivates the passer-by as he strolls from the Moulin Rouge to the Sacré-Coeur. The streets thrive with cabarets, cafés, restaurants, cinemas and boutiques, while the memory of artists such as Utrillo,Toulouse-Lautrec and even the singer Dalida still lingers on.
